I. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia under the motto “One Homeland, One People — Together We Create a New Life and Future!”
The main purpose of the four-day programme was to widely promote the historical significance of our country’s independence, strengthen friendship and solidarity among employees of industry enterprises, and encourage their active participation in sporting and cultural events.
As part of the “Mustaqillik to‘yi” Festival, the “Meeting of Three Generations” and “Leaders and Youth” meetings were held with the participation of labour veterans who had worked productively at industry enterprises for many years. During the discussions, participants exchanged views on long-standing workplace traditions, ongoing developments in the industry, and the opportunities being created for young professionals.
Alongside the festival, the “Independence Cup” featured exciting competitions in volleyball, table tennis, mini-football, basketball, and handball. Teams representing industry enterprises took part in the competitions, demonstrating their physical fitness, agility, and teamwork.
The sports competitions provided participants with an important platform not only to test their skills, but also to establish closer ties with representatives of different enterprises, exchange experience, and strengthen friendly relations.
At the closing ceremony, employees who actively participated in the competitions, as well as the winning and prize-winning teams, were recognised with commemorative gifts and well-deserved awards.
